Looking for advice, your thoughts on why Dolly would start creeping up with an increase. I gave her some, probably too much (2 tsp)12% mc yesterday at +3 so I could leave her for 2 1/2 hours and not worry. I don't know how long those carbs can affect her numbers. I've never done this before, given mc with a safe number. Overall she is creeping up on her increase. I look back over her SS and to make sense of her increases and decreases lately. I believe the sleep loss I have been going through has made it impossible for me to make sense of anything and I desperately need guidance.

Is anyone having trouble getting FF or Friskies Pate? Our store shelves are empty. Amazon is charging a fortune and delivery is in N ovember. Chewy is out. It’s scary. I bought a case of Friskies from eBay. 60 cans of which Dolly only eats 10 of them, possibly 10 more of a different flavor. 40 left:banghead::banghead::banghead: No FF chicken feast anywhere. Ug, ug, ug
Can't advise. Just know your Dolly Girl is in my prayers. You too, Adrienne.
Thanks Summer. Hope you were able to get some answers today although I think you mentioned it was your vets surgery day. I hope Susie is eating and her tummy is doing better. You are both always in my prayers. I know it’s been a very rough week (or two) for you both.

Regarding Fancy Feast: yes! Last week when Ginger was sick and FF was the only thing she would even eat a little bit of, I went to so many stores just to get a few cans! The shelves are so empty. One thing I did do, though, was to order Chewy’s Tiny Tiger. It’s their version of Fancy Feast. My cats like it. Have you ever tried it? I’ve turned several people from this Board onto it. Their kitties like it.

Friskies found me one can in the whole valley where I live at Target and was able to get FF as well. One can :banghead::banghead: They are delivering both today.
Friskies website found me the one can so you can’t buy it directly. It’s scary. Dolly really only eats the friskies. I bought her some ZiwiPeak air dried. I don’t know if it’s considered dry food. It’s around 4-5% carbs.

Ziwipeak air dried is essentially dehydrated food and is really good stuff if it suits Miss Dolly's discerning palate. It's crazy that the supply chain issues for pet foods caused by the pandemic are still with us. The dry pasta aisle of my local supermarket was cleared out as there is a shortage of that as well.

I'm glad you were able to get it. It's been hit or miss when I've tried to order from Chewy.
Hi Carla and Adrienne!! Here’s what I think is the key to getting it from Chewy. I have an autoshipment set up that contains the Friskies. I keep that auto shipment set up and just set it to deliver every so many weeks - the delivery date can be easily adjusted and they send you an email a few days in advance so that gives you time to change the date if you are not ready.
The thing is, I believe that they reserve stock to send to their autoship customers first because several times I have been told by friends that Friskies is out of stock— I will go to the website and type in Friskies Pate and the flavor in the search bar and it says “temporarily out of stock,” but when I go to look into my autoship the Friskies is just sitting there and it doesn’t say out of stock and they ship it to me. I hope this helps!

I wanted something I could safely leave out at night so I would no longer be getting up at 3 am to refresh her food. I’m glad it’s okay to give her. She will not eat from “any” auto feeder. Thanks Katherine. I got the one can of Friskies that she eats every morning and night same day delivery. One can in our whole valley. She is a fussy one. Don’t know what I will do. Trying and tossing many different foods.
