Good morning!
AMPS 142 shooting 3.25u
Boomer ate well last night. He let me sleep until 5:20 this morning; I got up started the coffee and brought Boomer btb and he actually cuddled with me for a while. He hasn't been sleeping with me at all lately; he spends most of the night on the bench under the open window.

On the agenda today....currently waiting to see if the clouds will subside so I can go out...not that there's been a lot of wildlife out lately! Makes me sad because I know I won't see a lot now until spring. Haircut mid afternoon. And DH has a few errands to run and it's too early to tell whether one of us will need to be here with Boomer; I don't know whether he'll head down or up today

A couple of days ago I was at the pond with a fellow photographer and she happened to zoom in on a lone bird at the top of a tree and it was a Rusty Blackbird! A first for me! Photo attached.

Well I wasn't expecting that. +6 112

 

OMG so yesterday and today Boomer was being a bit weird....well weirder than normal. Laying on the floor in the spare room when he's normally on the bed. Standing staring at a corner. Just found out why. He was eating a minute ago and a mouse came running down the hall towards him! MAN!

I hope Boomer is a good mouser. I have one who just sat and stared at a chipmunk crossing his path on our deck so I am pretty sure he'd do likewise with a mouse.

 

Boomer found the mouse for me; it was behind a toilet and the poor little thing was shaking...Boomer was about 18 inches away lol. It managed to get away from us but eventually DH managed to capture it and released it in our backyard.

Awwww...so much excitement today! Glad you were able to rescue the poor little mouse. I don't think Boomer had that in mind, exactly...

Nice shot of the Rusty Blackbird! I've never heard of that kind of bird at all!
