I think it’s always good to have support at times like this.

I just read what Summer wrote on her SS

 

I think we have to respect Summer's decision and let her be. Having a sick cat is not something that everyone can handle. It's an enormous responsibility, emotionally and financially, and the quality of life of the cat as well as the caregiver has to be taken into consideration. We have all given her a tremendous amount of information and support to help her help Susie that is no doubt appreciated, but in the end it's her decision. Let's be supportive.

I'm just now seeing this, but I agree with Katherine. It's one thing for all of us across the internet to look at a spreadsheet/notes and read posts, but an entirely different thing to be living it. Whatever her decision is I will support it, because I know she will not have arrived at it easily or without a lot, a lot, a lot of thought and heartache.

 

The only option I suspect that Summer hasn't explored is seeing if DCIN can help to re-home Susie.
