Sorry for your loss, horses are so special. Such a bond! I have 2 horses in particular in my barn now that are very ’ancient”. One is over 35 years old! Every day is a gift.
 
Took me almost an hour to give Herm his shot, he was not having any of it. I was very nearly unsuccessful. Had me in tears. He was so angry. Feline Diabetes is hard. :(
