Ruby surfed last night and into this morning. That is good. She will probably bounce higher today. No one will be home, sitter coming around +7 to test. Left lots of her favorite tuna and duck 12% MC to munch on. Stay safe, my love!

A pretty good PMPS. She's going into the litterbox and digging in it and crying, looking like she wants to do you know what but hasn't done the deed yet. It's been 4 days so she is due. I stopped the lactulose for a few days to see if Kibow would help her be more regular but maybe we need to go back. Otherwise she's been eating well, loving her venison.

What is Kibow?

Kibow is a yeast-based prebiotic (fiber) that is recommended by the IBD kitties FB group I'm a part of. I combine it with her Visbiome probiotic that is recommended by specialists in intestinal disorders in cats. The two should work well together to get her to do her thing.

I put it into her second meal. Afraid to put too much as then she will be blocked up with diarrhea. It's always a dance along a very fine line with Ruby.

I know, my poor sweet girl. She is getting another ultrasound in a few weeks, so we will see if her doctor decides to change how we manage her SCL.

Right now, all her issues aside, she seems ok. I have the tools to manage everything that comes our way. She even chased Olive around a bit tonight so I know her energy is good for an 11 year old cat.

No, I didn't know there was an Optimum. I will look it up! On top of everything that is going on, this weekend we're moving into my brother's house for a week while we wait for our new home to be available, but when we are in our new place I will try it.

We are moving into a house about a mile away from where we currently live. We sold the house that we are living in and are moving into a rental because we don't want to deal with an old house anymore but the rental isn't available for us to move into until next Sunday. Closing on the house is Monday so we have to be out of here by tomorrow. We are moving everything in the house into storage, staying for a week at my brother's house in the burbs while he is away on vacation, then in a week moving everything out of storage again and into the new apartment. Lots of upheaval! The cats like the cardboard boxes everywhere though!

Sitter will not be coming to the burbs and we don't need him because Frank will be working from home all week. Once we officially move, the sitter will come to our new place as it's within walking distance of where he lives.
