Well, @JL and Chip, you were right- Jack was plotting some serious green overnight action. My back is killing me from napping on the couch all night, and there's not enough coffee to get through today. On the bright side, if I can see some green today, we are going to reduce to 7.5 this evening...let's see what Mr. Freshpants has in store for his very tired momma today. Picture below from late last night- Jack and his buddy Butterscotch said, "What is your issue, woman? We're trying to sleep on the pile of blankets you are supposed to be washing tomorrow; stop waking us up!"

Jack and Butterscotch were totally OWNING the blankets! Love the picture - so cute that two are so together!

The only thing more enticing to a cat than a pile of lumpy blankets heading to the laundry is a basket full of clean clothes. You’re not a true cat person unless you instinctively throw a towel over your freshly washed laundry to intercept the impending fur that the determined quadriped will leave behind. Or boxes—yeah, boxes are natural cat attractants too. (The best one for me, though, was the day I dropped a small square sticky note on the floor and one of my crew leapt over and tried vainly to fit on top of it). Cats.

After last night’s 53, I’m thinking Jack might be lobbying for that 7.5u soon.
