We started topping the cats food with a little MC on a regular basis and I wonder if that has something to do with Ruby bouncing less. When she was on entirely raw she would go sky high and then plummet, but we put a dab or two of Weruva Devour Me (12% carb) in their bowls, especially when Ruby drops quickly and they love the gravy. Higher carb seems to do something, maybe? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
 
Thanks, Wendy. I was re-reading that old FDMB thread earlier this evening. I never thought much of it while Ruby was tightly regulated because I didn't see much of a difference in how she was responding when I was recording the carb percentages for every ounce of food she ate, but now I am realizing higher carb percentages might work well for Ruby now that she is bouncy and my goal isn't to keep her in lower greens all the time but rather to stave off the pinks and yellows.
