When I got up this morning, Destiny had just thrown up for the 3rd time. She stopped throwing up after that, but wouldn't eat anything all day (even MC or HC) and only had a few sips of water all day. She acts like she wants water and even meows when I open the fridge and take the water pitcher out, but when I give her some she just sniffs it and then lays down. She doesn't drink any.

I called the vet and am dropping her off there first thing tomorrow morning. They said the side effects from the onsior should be worn off by now (her last pill was Sunday evening), but also didn't seem overly concerned. Her BG has been steadily going down on its own without giving her any shots today. Do I need to be concerned overnight with her possibly going hypo?

I should add, that while she is definitely not active, she is by no means totally lethargic either. I worked from home all day today and she was following me around, going up and down the stairs, jumping on and off the kitchen and bathroom counters, etc.

Those are classic signs of nausea. When you don’t shoot it’s Ambg. Since she hasn’t had any insulin today or tonight no need to worry about going hypo. I’m glad you will drop her at the vet tomorrow. I hope they figure out what’s wrong. :bighug:

The vet x-rayed her wrist and discovered that the ulna bone is partially dislocated. He emailed the x-rays to a specialist/surgeon and is waiting to hear back what he thinks. She only fell from the coffee table to the floor, which isn't very far, so a dislocation like that seems strange to me. He is running a blood panel and the results should come back tomorrow. In the meantime he gave her a painkiller injection.

She was also dehydrated from not drinking anything all day yesterday, so they injected her with fluids.

She is home now, but still hasn't started eating or drinking yet. It might take a little time though. I am trying to be patient. I will be thrilled when she starts to eat a little.

She has eaten 5 turkey Temptations, licked up a little MC gravy, drank about a tbsp of Cat Sip milk and a few sips of water. She wanted more Cat Sip, but I was too worried that would be tough on a very empty stomach.

She just ate about 1/3 can of FF Medleys white meat chicken fare. I know it isn't low carb, but I currently have 12 kinds of different cat food open in my fridge right now and if she is willing to eat that one, at this point she can have it. :)
