Amps 40 Libre/120 Contour Next at +12
Lo Libre +12.25
Fed 12.5% meal today

good morning,:coffee::coffee:
Ivy had a lower green day on the Libre sensor yesterday a.m. cycle and a green and blue cycle overnight.
Early this morning, +10.25 (4:30 am) which is late in her cycle. She dropped down lower on the Libre and I came down and fed her a teaspoon of 12.5% to try to keep her stable until meal time and shot time.

Didn’t work too terribly well, I could see she was doing a very late cycle dive.
When it wast time for her meal and shot she was wobbling between lo on the Libre and 40s on Libre.
At one point I blood tested her and she was 40 on the Libre, which was 120 on the contour meter.
I gave her full shot of 3.75 (Fat) and she’s been wobbling between LO and the low 40s on the Libre since.

It looks like it’s going to be a very active cycle again this morning. I have to work and it’s very busy at work so it’s going to be quite a challenge, but I’m glad I’m working at home so I can take care of her. Just makes it hard to work and run up and down the steps constantly, but that’s what we do :blackeye:

Hope everyone has a safe day:cat:

Good morning Staci and Ivy.
Oh boy, Ivy doesn't fool around! :eek: The sweet girl means business!
The late cycle dive is hard to manage! I do wonder what that means though. She must be producing her own insulin? That must be good news, right? though heard on you, Staci:nailbiting:
Hope she surfs safely and stays steady.
Ivy, Momma is busy today so go easy on her, okay? :kiss:
Wishing you a safe green day, Staci :bighug::bighug::bighug:

So sorry for the ups and downs, Staci — it sounds quite stressful — but I know sweet Ivy is in the best of hands and will do just fine. We just need to send her devoted mama lots of hugs to get her through the day. And coffee .. lots of coffee. :bighug::coffee::bighug::coffee::bighug::coffee::bighug:

Morning Staci , Our girl sure is giving you a run for your money today, I hope she steadies herself so you won't have to constantly run up and down the stairs, although it helps keep our legs and booty nice and toned :p:p. I'm so glad you're home today with her :bighug::bighug::bighug::cat:

Hi Staci,

wow, what a start in the day! :nailbiting: Stop scaring you mum Ivy!!! But looks like she has become more steady now. I hope the day ends less stressful than it started and you get all your work done. And you don't have to do any workout today anymore after all this stair training. :)

I hope you can treat yourself tonight. :)

Hi Kit, I have no idea what it means! I wish I knew. I just know she has these late cycle dives.
I’ve been feeding a few tsp of her low carb 6% in the auto feeder at 2:30 am (+8.25) each night/early morning before Amps to try to get rid of some of those late cycle dives. And it does seem to have helped a bit.
But this morning she took a dive around 4:15 am and the Libre alerted me she was headed low. Scared the crap out of me.
I ran down and fed her in hopes of bringing her up a bit.
It didn’t do too much.
What a start to the day :banghead:

It was almost a relief when she went up a bit today. And then of course I hate when she goes too high. Never happy!
Well I’m sure I’ll fall asleep “watching” a show tonight if she’s not diving.
Anyway… have a fun night, Kit. We send lots of xoxo

Wow I did need that coffee today, Karen. I’m not good getting out of bed at 4:30 am. It’s been a long day.
I appreciate the hugs, too. Need that very much as well.
Sending you and sweet Chispa many hugs too :bighug::bighug::bighug:

She’s a wild one, Diane. Extreme sports for Ivy. Highs and lows.
Can’t she just be more stable????

Yes I do get lots of steps in every day. Up and down. And when I pick up my girl it’s real weight lifting. She’s over 15 lbs. and I lug her up 1 or 2 flights of steps so she comes up to see the sunshine. She makes me work :rolleyes:

I’m very thankful I am able to work at home and take care of her too, Diane. I know it’s really very lucky that I am able to do this. The fact that I could do my job remotely and watch over her so carefully is really a blessing. Sometimes I do miss going into the office, but I wouldn’t trade making sure she’s safe for anything.
Thanks for checking on us:bighug::bighug::bighug:

Hi Heike,
Omg thank you so much for that adorable Spa kitty picture. I laughed so hard when I saw that, I can’t believe you found that, it’s awesome :p:p:p

Ivy did give me a scare first thing this morning at 4:30 AM. It was a hell of a wake up call. I’m sure you know what it’s like when that sensor alarm goes off. It can certainly scare you out of bed.

Hoping tonight, neither one of us gets any scares and we both get a good night’s sleep. I think we both need it.
Sending you and Binie lots of hugs and love. Thanks for checking in with us today. :bighug::kiss::bighug::kiss:

Pmps was 320 on her Libre. ouch.
So we’ve seen opposite ends of the spectrum today, extreme lows this morning and extreme high tonight.
Just a plain, lower cycle would be nice, like high greens, low blues, that would be nice. Can we do that? Let’s go, Ivy:cool::D
Safe surfing tonight, everyone:cat::cat:
