New Dose Wonkiness is over by the 3rd cycle. If you sniff her, any chance of a fur shot? Or maybe today is a high before diving down low.

I dont think I gave her a fur shot. Nothing weird about the shot this morning. It can see that one the best because shes on my lap on her stomach in the cat bag and the sun is usually on us at that time. So much light. Plus I have on my magnifying glasses. Cant see squat otherwise.

@Wendy&Neko One thing Ive been having problems with for a while now is I sometimes cant get the bubble out from the very top towards the needle. I pull it back and push it up over and over and when it goes up thru the needle, out pops the bubble. Its so frustrating. So I didnt push it all the way to the 2, just a hair short to account for the bubble. I cant flick it, it just spatters insulin all over in dots inside the syringe and I never get it all smoothed out without losing a lot of insulin. I just dont know why Im having such a hard time lately.

What I used to do is turn the syringe so the needle is at the top. Pull back on the plunger so there is more air on top. Tap the syringe. Bubbles seem to like to join with other bubbles, making one fat bubble. Then I slowly twisted the plunger to move the air out the top.

I'll give that a try. I just tried with water but its not the same. Insulin is thicker I think. And yes, I move it up and down to collect the bubbles on the sides. I have no luck tapping it. Thats when the insulin just splatters all over the place. Its not like water or most other liquids that will settle when tapped. At least not for me. I tried twisting the plunger but the only thing that moved was the white part that sticks inside the rubber part, not the rubber itself. And I always pull out the insulin with the needle facing up. I never thought to do it the other way.
