107 +3, recent DKA

Hello all,

I just checked Frankie at +3 and got 107 using Alpha Trak. 377 AMPS. I gave him 3 units of Prozinc this morning (here is his spreadsheet) It is worth noting that he ate some dry food this morning but I mostly had to syringe feed wet due to his ongoing decreased appetite.

As you can see his numbers really weren't budging much yesterday, and then suddenly today he's dropping pretty fast. Either his body is getting used to the Prozinc, or it's because he had more dry food yesterday as compared to today.

Here is his recent DKA progress thread

Vet prescribed 3 units Prozinc BID and I'm trying to follow that as closely as possible. Should I try feeding him now, or wait a while and test again? Let me know if I'm missing some information, typing this in a bit of a hurry lol.

Thanks! I gave him ~20 mL wet food and a few hard treats, and I'll check back in 30 minutes.

So was Pinkerton when his Mum Linda studied for Vet Tech, and Pinkerton got his Vet Tech Graduation too when his Mum got.

Gustav, Simba, Tjejen, and Itty got Their SUPER Graduating Licentiates too, took some years, started as 22 and finished at 37, in both 2004, and 2006. So they could boss me around better. Not much would have been done without them.
