We just got back from a trip to the vet (routine visit). I was so happy to hear that Chispa had lost 0.3 lbs since 9/28. The diet is working!
So here's a funny thing: I noticed a can of CheezWhiz-like product on the counter and asked if they used it for treats. Has anyone ever heard of that?? They offered Chispa a little spritz of it, but she politely turned her head and looked away. Then they tried to give her a star-shaped soft treat, but it stuck to her tooth and she spit it out. I guess four months of nothing but 100% freeze-dried chicken and salmon have turned my little foodie into a treat snob. Lucky me.
