    Hello L&L
    It's been awhile.
    Fritz is doing good.
Tommorrow I take him in for a outer mouth sore. I think it's an ulcer this is his second. The first went away.
My question is I know there are certain meds we should never give our kitties.
Any lists of meds are appreciated.
    Thank you
    Surf safely kitties

    Advil kills dogs
Probiotic yogurt is okay for cats (check flavoring)
Artificial sweeteners very bad, diabetic or not

Metacam , aspirin, and many believe convenia because it stays in the systemfor weeks or even months. Max was fine with convenia though.

My vet will not use Convenia for pain. It is an injection that lasts over 2 weeks. If your cat is allergic to the drug, once it's in, there's not a way to get it out. There are better options.

Metacam (meloxicam) has an FDA black box warning for cats. NSAIDs can cause renal failure. The caveat is that Metacam is prescribed in higher doses in the US than other countries. I won't use Metacam or other nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs for pain with my kitties.

Convenia is not for pain. It’s antibiotic.

She said BW looked good on a voicemail to me. Also she had no clue as to what the outer upper above the mouth possibly dry skin she stated.
We've been traveling the last couple days so tommorrow I'm calling and asking for a copy of his BW. I'll put in his SS.
Hope your doing well and Murphy is too....
