Good evening,

quite glad Binie went down today and we saw finally some blue numbers again.:cool::cool: Curious, what the next days bring on this dose.

She is still licking her breast but not in that brutal way anymore. Maybe we are lucky and she gets better without further help. I just treated it with collodial silver and a good helping of coconut oil. She allows me to put it on, while she is chewing on a cat-stick. She loves to lick my oily fingers as dessert. :)

Next Wednesday I have a Zoom-consultation with a vet for internal medicine. I sent her the medical reports from the pathology and gave her the history of Binies skin issues. I hope she has some further ideas, what we might look into to help Binie. The consultation is 45 minutes, so plenty time to go into details. It feels good I can get a second opinion without dragging Binie around.

Hope everyone has a calm and peaceful night with safe cycles and lots of sleep! :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Oh that’s great, I’m So happy you’re getting an so happy you’re getting a second opinion.
I hope it will bring further insight and maybe another perspective. Great job Heike:bighug:
I’m so happy to see Binie got down to blue, that’s wonderful news, especially after the fur shot.

That’s a good recovery and glad to hear she’s not licking as badly and she’s enjoying your fingers as a yummy snack:)

Wishing you a calm night with lots of good sleep and nice BG :cool:

So happy for Binie (and you, because I know her feeling better must be such a relief)—you’re doing such a good job helping her heal! I hope the consultation goes well and they have some new good ideas. I did one (well my vet did—the consultant talks with the vet not the owner) recently and it was very useful. It takes a village!

Thank you so much Colleen! :bighug::bighug::bighug: I wish my mood wood be a bit less dependent on Binies parameters. It doesn't help. So good your vet made a panel with another one! I wouldn't mind at all if my vet would do it but I think it is not in her portfolio. I hope Methos is fine. I see he had a long stretch of blue and green numbers yesterday. So nice! :D:cool::D:cool:

And I hope you got some sleep and are well too! :bighug::kiss::bighug:

I'm so happy to see her numbers today, and read your good news!
That's a good idea to do a consultation through Zoom, at least at first. i hope they will have good advice.

Thank you Cecile! :bighug::bighug::bighug: Yes, I am happy to have the zoom option. Binie is quite difficutl to handle for vets and our vet and her young collegue know how to treat her right. So I hope we might get some opinions if there is anything else we can try without stressing Binie too much. I hope Bella is well and all the delicious food is locked away from her. :)

My vet had to do it…the specialist only deals with vets. I’m ok as long as I get answers. I’m not a fan of low blue and definitely not green—it’s always followed by lots of red and pink. High blue with a little low yellow is perfect for me—I don’t think the swing from red to green and back is good for him. His ketone rise, he doesn’t want to eat, and mopes around. When he’s high blue he likes to sit on the patio or even climb up on the upper catio shelves. And he gets more constipated :( when he swings green to red
This am I tried something new: glycerin liquid suppository (it’s like a tiny enema for babies). I hope he forgives me before bedtime or he may chew off my face as i sleep :D
Edit: if you see a string like recently know I was muttering “no no no please no! Don’t go lower. Don’t go lower”
