Good morning! Finally got the new Lantus and started using yesterday. Didn’t have much effect. Today she just had a 49 at +5. It has been forever since she has been that low. So happy.

Should I wait to decrease her insulin until she is below 50 two more times or can I go ahead and do it since we think it was her insulin??

I’d wait for two more times. If you have a hard time bringing her up you could try after the second.

Ok, sounds good. Yes, that was what I was afraid of since it is such a large dose for her but she is 80 at +5.5, so all is well!
