11/15 Oberon +11 53 (5000th BG reading!), +11.5 48, +12 74, +12.75 75, +13.5 70, +15 110, +16.5 132

OK, that brought him up nicely; we'll keep checking and feeding as needed. Next thing is to figure out what this does to his dose. The depot's a bit confused right now (last six doses: 5.5, 5.5, 5.5, 0, 5.25, 5.25), so it's hard to say whether this is still just the old depot talking. If so, I'd be inclined to reduce by 0.25. But my gut is telling me there's something different going on right now, given how little he reacted to the skip. I feel like a 0.5 reduction would be safer. And tonight's dose will depend on what he does for the rest of this afternoon. Who knows... could be heading for another skip?

Early morning data: AMPS 112, +2 115, +4 58, +5 33, +5.33 81

+10 and we're still having to fight to keep him above 50. I think I'm going to just go ahead and declare a skip now. We pretty clearly need to drain the depot, and I can't imagine that he's going to make it through the next 2 hours with no food and be able to get even a BCS. New dose of 4.75 U tomorrow, I think. @Wendy&Neko, any thoughts?

Rest of the morning data: +6 76, +7 46, +8 40, +8.5 55, +9 39, +9.5 56, +10 45, +10.5 57

And because I'm a geek and can see all the info on my graphing data sheet... that was our 5000th BG reading since we started this fun game.

Crazy cat! I always vie for going conservative when something might be happening inside. Far too much lime today to take chances.

And he dropped to 48 at +11.5, so we gave a bit of HC and would have had to delay shot time a lot if we'd really wanted to do it. Skipping is definitely the best option tonight. What do you think about the new dose tomorrow? 4.75 U? (Assuming he comes up overnight, that is... right now I have no idea what his plans are.)

74... more of a bump than he's been getting from food for a while, so maybe he's starting to come up on his own. Still doing half hour checks until I'm sure of that, though.
