11/2 Mikan AMPS 241, +2 170, +6.5 158: PMPS 224, +2 201, +4 233

11/1/24

Good morning.
Moving the AM shot time later for preparation of the time change. All the kitties are unhappy about delayed breakfast, but I got to sleep 20 min longer with three cats on me demanding I get up

Mikan continues her flat journey. 2 more days until her dental.

Happy Saturday and have a great day, everyone!
Good morning, Kit. Glad you got a little extra sleep today. 3 cats on you sounds delightful:p
I miss Ivy sleeping with me in bed :(

I guess a flat journey is better than a Mars adventure, so we have to see what happens after the dental.

Wishing you all a nice Caturday and a relaxing weekend :bighug::bighug:

Hi Staci,
Someone was pawing on my FACE and someone also licked my nose (Ewww).
I think you are right. I hope Mikan just keeps up the flat journey. I just hope she won't drop on the day of the dental. :nailbiting:
I guess the vet should know what to do, if that happens, right? My trust in vets in general has declined so much since Mikan's diagnosis.....

Hope you and Ivy have a nice day and enjoy the weekend! :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Oh Kit, that sounds awesome to have all that love to wake you up. I’d love having my nose licked by my kitty! They can do anything they want :)
You can see how strict I am:p(It’s why my couch arms are shredded by Miss Ivy). lol

I agree with you about faith in vets since FD diagnosis. When I think back and they told me no need to test her (or “once a week was more than enough if I really wanted to test her”).
:banghead::banghead::banghead:
What is wrong with these vets giving such bad advice to people who know nothing about FD, (like me at that time)???? It makes my blood boil :spam::spam::spam::spam:

I no longer use that vet ;)

Thank God that bad advice just didn’t sit right with me. It was keeping me up at night and that’s when I started researching and landed here:facepalm:

I have complete faith in you to ask all the right questions to keep Mikan safe. You’re so smart and thorough :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Sometimes they are completely ridiculous. The "Internal Medicine specialist" we were first referred to, told me to feed, wait 30 min, test, shoot only if it's above 250. o_O
Like you, I did a lot of online research and found this place. The rest is a history ;)

Hahahaha. It sounds like you, Staci :bighug::)
But their sandpaper tongue! Ouch!

Hope you are enjoying your Saturday! :bighug::bighug::bighug:
