Good evening,

today we had the third boucing cycle and tonight seems to be the fourth.

While yesterday I felt Binie is still doing well on her high bg, she was not so well today. She is drinking all the time and the appetite is lower. I'll see, if I measure ketones tomorrow.

Tomorrow I have to install a new sensor. Which means sneaking around her all the time, waiting for her to come in a good position. Wish me luck!

Safe surf and a relaxed weekend! :bighug::bighug::bighug:

I picture you in a trench coat, hiding behind a potted plant, with binie thinking “what is she doing, doesn’t she know I can see her???”

best of luck with the sensor. If it’s any consolation Methos is also bouncing. Nothing seems to prevent it, making me crazy. Best of luck with the sensor and fingers crossed binie improves soon!
:bighug::bighug::bighug:

Oh Binie, I get that you are not that used to greens, but did you have to bounce to the moon?!

Hope the sensor swap goes smoothly.

Hi Heike.
Come on down, Binie!
I hope she breaks her bounce very soon and gently.
Good luck tomorrow with installing the new sensor.
Wishing you a relaxed weekend too and safe surf, Binie.

Thank you so much Colleen! :) You describe exactly what is happening here. I am watching Binie all the time and she is watching me while I'm watching her with her "What do you want??"-face. Now she is hiding under a blanket so I can not see her. The sensor has another three hours, it is nerve wrecking.

I wish Methos would not bounce, so it is not really a consolation. Looks like he is in a bounce right now. Hope he comes down gently soon! :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Hhhhhh.......I love that picture! Thank you Christie! Yes, her bounces are extreme. The libre is exaggerating a bit in the extremes, so a 500 could be a high 300 but anyhow, that is not how I want her to be. She came down a bit during the night but only to yellow. I think yellow is also on the menue today but maybe not much more. Hope you have a relaxed Sunday! :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Good luck, Heike! I really hate the extra drinking and peeing that goes with the high numbers. Looks like she's on the way down (hopefully).

Thank you so much Seth! Yes, she is on her way down but slooooooowly. I hope Bell also comes down today. I saw she had another night in pink like Binie has today.

Thank you so much Madeline! Still bouncing but not that bad anymore.... Yellow and pink! Yeahhhh.....

I am still waiting for Binie to bring herself in the right position for the new sensor. How do you do this? Do you hold Butch? Whenever I tried that, I messed up and the sensor didn't stick, because she was moving around. What is you hack to get it done? Hope you have a nice Sunday! :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Hi Heike, I hope you’re gotten the sensor on. Paws and everything crossed for smooth installation today. Come on Binie. Be a good girl!
With Ivy I set up everything I need right next to her so I don’t have to get up (or she will escape).
Then I begin the process. Have the shaver right there (I have a very quiet shaver since I saw Ivy hated a loud one. That helps a lot I believe)

Wishing you both a calm day with a gentle slide down again. I hope she feels better today, Heike.

Hi Heike.
Glad to hear that she is coming down. Hoping that Binie will slide from the pink and yellows to the blues today.
I have a whole routine with Butch. I usually place the new sensor a day or two before the old one ends.
When we place Butch's sensor, I try to wait when he is in the right position too, but we still need to hold him. If he's on my lap, bed, or sofa we can click the sensor than hold him in place to stay. When needed I give him a snack to get him in the right position and location that makes it easier to apply.
Wishing you a nice Sunday too and safe surf, Binie!

Thank you so much Madeline! Good you have someone to hold Butch! I tried snacks too but if she eats something, she usually gets up with her front feet and than she is not in the position anymore I need. Seems I can only work with patience.... Hope Butch is coming gently down today! Hope you have a nice Sunday and a safe surf too! :bighug::bighug::bighug:
