He ate a full can on his own last night thankfully, it's MC but at this point doesn't matter! He's hiding right now I'll drag him out later to get a temp and give some meds.

@Suzanne & Darcy figured better to reply here. I thought it was a lot of fluid as well, so I even had the tech double check that it was that much at once and on one side, and they said yes :banghead: So I gave it last night.

We are hosting DHs family and cooking a few things, but thankfully that's tomorrow. MIL is coming over today to help get ready.

I’m glad Mr Kitty ate on his own last night! Thinking of you both and hoping he starts to feel better soon :bighug:

I think it’s great that Mr. Kitty ate on his own. I hope he does it again today. Let him eat what he wants… as you already said. I hope that Veraflox will work quickly. I just wish I knew what caused the fever. Vet doesn’t have any ideas? I’m glad you have help on the way! Enjoy your time with family.

He did not have ideas...said we could run tests but with it being holiday weekend wouldn't get many quick answers. They also sadly had quite a few critical patients rushed in, let me tell you it was heartbreaking sitting in that room last night listening to all that :(

His fever is down to 103 now which is what vet said he hoped for today, so looking "good" so far

That is good about the fever. 103 is getting closer to the normal range. I’m very glad to hear this!
