    Since I have the early shift (so to speak) he will stay up. He gets up about 2 hrs after I do so it works out. Usually a +4.5 (9pm) is good enough so he gets good sleep too. He was watching the Texans last night and has a dental cleaning this morning so he is sleeping in this morning also.

    Sounds like your household is similar to mine - DH keeps the later night watch and I'm up early to handle the 'day watch'...this silly FD is a 7/24/365 kinda deal...just like the hospital I work for...never stops does it... :)

    Our DH's are the best!
    Mine said it's his turn tonight to stay up to test if it's needed. It's great when we can get help, especially when things get hairy
