11/28 Fistuk AMPS 85, +3 106, +5 81 PMPS 68 +3 95

Good boy Fistuk. Back to the PM greens. Nice work. Hopefully he will produce while in greens. Maybe his body is still adjusting. He’s made incredible progress. You’re his best advocate, Shelly. Have a great day :bighug::bighug:
Fistuk and I have a very special bond. The way he came into our life is a very special story.
I'm about to send the stool sample to AnimalBiome now hat I've finally managed through the tech problems I had in registering the sample on their site. I'm curious to see what they'll have to say :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Oh boy, that sounds awful (the registration process). Why does everything need to be so difficult? I hope it works well and you’ll get the answers you need to be able to figure out how to best handle his situation.
I’d love to hear how you found each other since I don’t know the story. He’s such a special boy and lucky to have you for his mama. :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Hoping Fistuk keeps his side of the pact.
You're both doing such a great job!

Happy Tuesday across the pond.

@Staci & Ivy @cecile & bella @Karen and Chispa Thank's for asking!
At the time we stayed with Robert's sister at a flat which was part of a big villa in the mountains in Italy. When we went to see the flat we were going to move into we saw Fistuk Prince and their little sister in the courtyard. they were just three weeks or so. The person who back then made noises as if the cats were his (we learnt otherwise later) said that Fistuk and his sister were promised to someone - bc they were completely white. But that we could take prince, because he had a grey stain on his head and a grey tail so he wasn't pure (can you feel my cynicism...)

Anyhow, one day we were coming out of the flat, getting ready to get into the car when Fistuk leaped out of the courtyard and started running towards me. We then realised that their mother was gone and both Fistuk and Prince were sick and their sister died. It was getting already cool, October mountain weather, so we took them into the house and I fed them goats milk. Later I learnt that the idiot neighbour tried giving them aspirin :banghead::banghead::banghead:

At night I heard the mother meowing and I thought she probably have come back from trying to hunt for food so I took them both out to her with a box and hot water bottle but on the following day I realised that the mother didn't have enough milk and Fistuk was just starving. We both have the same infant trauma....

So I took them both in and that was it. I started treating them for the flu and fed them goat milk until they were old enough to eat cat food.
That scene of Fistuk leaping out from the courtyard to catch me before I left was so special. Robert keeps on saying that Fistuk knew what he was doing, the life he made for himself by running out to me.
It was a love at first sight but I had to be patient before I could have him in my arms. The name Fistuk came immediately. He was so tiny he fit on my palm like a small pistachio.

That's beautiful. I am sad for the mom and the little sister, but Fistuk chose you well! It is great as they seem to know. Bella chose us, too: we were at the humane society to adopt a kitten, with my kids, and she saw us, walked calmly toward us and sat in front of me, looking at me. The three of us forgot all about kittens and took our Bella home :-)

That’s the sweetest story, Shelly. You were meant to find your babies. They and you are so lucky to have found each other. It was meant to be. And I love how you chose Fistuk’s name, too. Thank you for sharing that lovely story with us. Makes me love them even more :bighug::bighug::bighug:

@Fistuk & Shelly, I love your story so much. Thank you for sharing it with us. I am sad for the sister and the mama, but it seems clear that Fistuk knew exactly what he was doing when he chose you.

@cecile & bella, Your story is wonderful too. Bella wasn't going to let you get away!

All of our kitties are lucky. As my friend says, "They won the lottery."
