Ruby's been doing really well. She's been eating her fuds and being very sweet and seems happy. I never thought I would get her tightly regulated on pred but it looks like we've mostly gotten there. Three units is the charm. She's riding a little low for my taste, especially since DBF can only test so much during the day as he works and we have to get to bed at a reasonable hour. Still, we're feeding her MC and HC when needed as a topper to her raw food, and that keeps her afloat and away from sharks.

Thanks, Suzanne! There's nothing magic about it, really. Just sheer, dogged (sorry, kitties) determination. I had to get over my fear of her going too low, and now she's pretty much cruising on her own without too much intervention. Oncology is a week from now, so we shall see what the doctor says then, but I think it will all be good.
