When do you sleep?
I don’t get enough sleep, it’s a problem!. :blackeye: I wish I saw a more clear pattern and could convince myself he will be safe for longer periods of time without checking, but his history of bouncing means I’m always on the lookout for a drop, and they seem to happen at any point during his cycle. :nailbiting::oops:

When there’s a big bump at +2 like last night you could get a +3-4 and unless another big drop into mid green call it a night. I’ve never been a good sleeper and got worse with fd. Never recovered. Do you have an auto feeder ? I would get one and set it to go off with higher lc or mc on nights like last night so you can sleep.

You are right, I should get an auto feeder. Sometimes I worry he won’t always eat unless “served” and I really feel like the multiple snacks has helped with bouncing (he still bounces just not as high). But worth trying. Also sometimes I try to resist the test when I wake up in middle of night but he will either walk across my face and stare or I keep myself up worrying so I test just so I can turn my brain off and sleep. I often go back to sleep for 1-2 hours after his 330am shot. Also, He’s difficult to shoot, there’s no ‘pick him up and put him on the testing/shooting table” he would murder me. 330am/pm has always been times he likes to eat so if I withhold food for 2 hours prior I can Usually get him to jump up for test/food/shoot. You’ll see there are some stretches where my shot times fluctuate more than ideal. That’s usually because we are in a needle funk and those times I have to either wait him out or do it early when an opportunity presents. But yes, my sleep is suffering and it’s very much affecting me. However… it’s worth it, Herman looks great and even his neuropathy is improving, so you gotta do what you gotta do!

If you get an AF try using it when you are around to make sure he will use it. Sorry he’s not easy. I was lucky in that way. :bighug:
