Haven't posted here in nearly three months but wanted to check in - Buster has been doing great lately!! He's earned so many reductions in the last week or so and still doing great! I suspect it may have helped to increase his methimazole dosage (at the advice of the vet), so his thyroid is better controlled and maybe in turn helping the diabetes? I don't know if that's how it works LOL but either way we're thrilled! He hasn't been on this low of a dose since February!

On another note, Buster's one year diagnosis anniversary is coming up at the end of the month. Is there anything we should take into consideration as he becomes considered a long term diabetic?

Hope everyone is doing well over here!

So good to hear from you Kim. Buster LOOKS FANTASTIC!!!

Once he's a Long Term Diabetic, reductions are earned when BG is one under 40 or one week in greens.
