Furball is still not eating very much due to the loose tooth. I'm reducing her dose and keeping it reduced for now. She does purr for me and it doesn't seem to bother her unless she's trying to eat.

Sorry about Furball's tooth! A friend's kitty had the same issue (I think hers was a loose canine), and after extraction she started running around and eating like a kitten... hope that'll be the case for Furball too

@Virginie Thanks for the good thought, but the vet doesn't want to Furball under anesthesia unless absolutely necessary due to her age. We think she's 19. She was a stray.
