12/1 Chispa, 155 AMPS, 130 +2, 106 +2.5

Hope you had a good sleep! Good to see her back to work coming down now.

Just a FYI, Neko almost always woke me up with loud mewing when she was low, except when she didn't. Once I tested her sound asleep - in the 30's! :eek:
Thanks, Wendy, for that cautionary tale -- yikes!!! I will definitely think twice before letting her sleep after dramatic dives! :nailbiting::eek::cat:

Hi Karen, so glad to see Chispa back to normal numbers. She had a lot going on at once. Is she feeling better and is the diarrhea gone? I hope so.
Glad the antibiotics are done. Clavamox is bad for Ivy, too. I think clindamyacin has been a little better. (Most are bad for her tummy, though).
It’s so hard to know what to do for them!
You’re doing so great taking care of her. Have a peaceful night :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Hi Staci - thanks for your encouraging words. I’m trying, but it IS hard to know what to do for her. Tonight she seems a little subdued, and the diarrhea has continued, despite all the supplements and now 36 hours after her last antibiotic dose. I don’t know how long it’s supposed to take to resolve, but I am planning to call the vet tomorrow. This is too much.

Anyway, thanks for checking in. I hope you and Ivy are getting the weekend off to a great start!

I know it’s a lot to manage. You’re doing so great with her. Hopefully once the antibiotics are completely out of her system it will resolve. Let us know what the vet suggests. I hope she feels better today!!! Xoxo :kiss::kiss:

How is Chispa today, Karen? I hope you both had a good day :bighug:
@Staci & Ivy @cecile & bella Thank you both fur checking in! :bighug::bighug: The vet called back and said it’s not unusual for the tummy troubles to persist a few days beyond the antibiotics, but to call if she’s not better by Monday. She’s still pooping pudding as of this morning, but she clearly feels better -- she's been much more social and active, and even jumped up to sit on a chair that I haven't seen her in since we moved here.
I hope you’re both enjoying your weekends!!:bighug::cat::coffee:
