12/11 Henry PMPS 70 +1 78 +2 66 +3 74 + 4 60 +5 72

Nice green start for Henry again!
Looks like you've learned how to handle these low numbers, Robert. Congrats! I knew you would with some practice.
The change in Henry's numbers is amazing to see.

Wow, a perfect morning so far! You're seeing one of those marvelously flat Lantus curves now. This is where we want to be!

Need some advice about the PMPS shooting of 3.25 units
Do I shoot regardless of whether the PMPS is up or down?
Because this AMPS + 11 (76) is his lowest yet to date new barrier for me

@Gill & George
@Marje and Gracie
@Butters & Lyla
There’s really no difference between the 89 you shot this morning and 76. I’d be prepared to shoot. If he’s dropped lower, let’s “talk”. I’ll check back in in a few minutes.

Marje I'm OK with want you think ==> so It's could get testy tonight?
It could but he’s been remarkably flat. Of course, if he’s angling for a reduction, he could drop lower tonight.

“Sometimes” when we see the nadir shift left, the kitty is potentially on the verge of a reduction so let’s see if it holds true with Henry. He’s got a couple left-skewed nadirs.

OK Henry's PMPS + 2 (66)

This is the time to give him 1.2oz of 2%
Should we mix two carbs
Waiting for response before feeding

He’s a bit lower than PMPS so I’m wondering if you want to try 10%? Look at his SS and how you’ve fed this kind of drop before.

OK
Henry's +3 BG reading is (74)

I got it from here Marje

Thank You

I will do next BG reading + 4

Will post for the others who are privately watching

You’re welcome. I’m so proud of you all and how quickly you’ve learned how to feed to keep him flat. I’ll check back in a bit later. Sorry I was late for +3...helping another member with a SS.

Marje your the best

Not too many people would do what your doing

Your just a DARN good person

Thank You
Thank you. I’m blushing! Those of us who stay and help do it because of all the help we were given, because of our love of kitties, and because we remember those difficult early days.

Henry is being a stinker but I hope he will come up and flatten out about +5 or so as he often does so you all can get some rest.

If Henry gets below 50 How would I handle AMPS tomorrow

But being Henry heading to the fifth hour of insulin 50 is probably not likely

Plus he gets his scheduled meal
