Good morning :)

A blue start this morning but lower than previous days, so I'm willing to entertain the possibility the past cycles were a bounce from the low but I'm not entirely sure this is it.

I could wait a bit longer, at least 6 cycles or perhaps more. Is it wise or is it best to bring him back to greens as soon as possible?

I was wondering if I should try to give him a dose between 0.10 and a drop, is it possible/advisable?

Some excessive drinking this morning. Taking him to the toilet box stopped the peeing on the floor. Last night I decided not to set the alarm for +7 but Fistuk was my alarm.

I was happy he asked me to take him, even though I brought his toilet to the bedroom and it's a very low and easy one to get into.

Wishing you all a lovely day :bighug:

Fistuk is such a sweet, mommy's boy  She wants you to take him there.
He does come down to the green but I see his nadir is a bit higher with the drop dose.
I can see how you might start wondering what to do with the dose.
Come on Fistuk, just a bit lower. A tiny bit.
Hope you have a great day, Shelly :bighug:

I think Fistuk enjoys being carried to his throne like the king he is. ;)

I wonder if you could get an inbetween dose with digital calipers. I've never used them, but maybe someone here who does could chime into that.

Hi Kit :)
Yes, his nadir is higher and he dips to the greens for a shorter time.
What I'm wondering is if letting him be in the blues is wise. Does his body get used to being in blues and finds it more difficult to go down back to greens?
Intuitively I'd say it's probably best to get him to green quicker so he doesn't need to work so hard and his body gets used to the greens more. But here I need more experienced folks to chime in.
Hope you're having a good morning :bighug::bighug:

He is the spoliest of them all. Alli :joyful:
I don't have a calliper but was thinking I could draw a line on that chart that @cecile & bella gave me and give him half of 0.10.

I^ll wait for Angela and Elise or maybe Wendy to wake up and weigh in perhaps. I just feel that 0.10 is a bit too much but a drop is not enough :bighug::bighug:

See what he does today and if he doesn't give you good numbers, you might want to go up to 0.10U.
Was a second test taken to check the 47 at AMPS on 12/10? I wonder if it was a bad strip or not enough blood giving a wonky reading...

My husband took the test so he didn't take another one.
I assume there was enough blood because he tends to poke him quite strongly so there's a lot of blood :(
It could have been a damaged stip but I doubt it. Each time I took two tests the results were the same. But who knows...

So you think 0.10 is better than somewhere between a drop and 0.10?

Boy, it’s so complicated, isn’t it, to try to figure out what to do with these dosing nuances?
You’re doing so great, Shelly, examining every possibility.
Looks like some good advice to try with his dose has been given.

Fistuk does love having his Mum cater to his every need. He’s such a special, sweet boy. I’m glad he let you know he needed to use his litter box. He’s such a smart little guy.
Hope you are having a wonderful day Shelly.

I can feel the waves of your appreciation fr us both and it warms my heart
He's a treasure. I felt quite discouraged and down in the past few days. I know it's normal but it was tough to just move through. i am grateful that he's taking such an active part in his healing process :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Hi Shelly, I don’t think it’s ever gonna be a straight path to success. I think we will all have little setbacks so it’s one step forward, Maybe one step back.
We keep moving forward and keep trying to do everything we can to improve their situation and you are absolutely doing that. So try not to feel too beaten up. You’re doing so great for him and he’s really thriving.
I’m sure it’s only a temporary little glitch and you will work through this. No doubt.
Sending you big hugs of support :bighug::kiss::bighug:to

Oh Fistuk, such a mama's boy that one. It's very sweet how he likes and enjoys you taking care of him.

All in all he's been looking really well. And even with some setbacks here and there, you two have made an enormous progress.

You're right. It's just hard to see them go that step backwards. And I can't help but trying to figure out how to help him best.

He hasn't opened the bakery yet today. But he did give an unexpected green late nadir :bighug::bighug::bighug:

I know it’s hard. Shelly. Believe me. I don’t even feel like I’m making progress and I’m over a year in this mess.
But Fistuk had come along so nicely. And you are doing everything right.
And that’s great news on the green nadir.
Let’s go sweet boy, we need a poop poop pe doop!
Good luck with the new dose!

I hope tonight is calm and content in your home

Thank you my dear friend. I know you understand
It's true! He's come a long way in a short time. I reminded myself of that every day the past week.
It's a small hiccup and we'll get through it.

He gave poop poop pe doop finally at +3 :bighug: An I decide to give myself a full night sleep. It was helpful :bighug::bighug::bighug:
