? 12/16 Amethyst PMPS 135 PM FS AGAIN NEED ADIVICE PLEASE

Love ,Light and Healing to all of our Kitties, Doggies, Mama and Daddy Beans I have been treating Amethyst for 4 years now. This past year twice I hit a muscle putting her in shock and pain and respiratory distress My poor little girl was in the Hospital in Oxygen for 3 day and 2 night both times Tonight she jumped when I went to give her the shot of course I freaked thinking I hit a muscle again so I pulled the needle out and most of the insulin went all over her fur PLease any one have any ideas how I can calm myself and her??? Thank you!!

I'm sorry that happened tonight. I always give Furball some loving before t/f/s time to help calm her down. I've heard of some people singing to their cats.

 

it's okay Pamela you're doing the best you can Is she eating when you shoot? I always make sure Jax's face is in the bowl. You'll get through this

 

I just try to remember that I'm doing the best I can, and it's not each single event that matters, but overall how you look after her, that usually she gets her shot, that you are human and that our fur babies forgive us fast

I'm sure you've thought about this but are you able to switch to Levemir with DCIN? Maybe the dose is stinging her?

 

Amethyst is a champ Pamela and will be back to the blues in no time. She always bounces back. Don't beat yourself up over a FS. You are the bestest mom ever to Amethyst & JoJo

 

The one good thing about a larger dose is the larger dose when you do a fur shot. She will get over it soon enough.

Amethyst's spreadsheet looks amazing. You are doing a wonderful job with her.
