12/2, Pookey, AMPS 242, +8 229, PMPS 242, +3 186, +5 184

Morning all,

Yesterday’s post:

He’s been acting more reserved the last couple days. Maybe his body is getting used to this BG still, or he’s mad at me from all the pokes. Hoping for a nice slide down today!

Happy Monday. - Tim
On a day with lots of pokes Methos hopped up next to me on the daybed. I said “hey buddy, I guess all is forgiven? I love you!” And ran my hand over him.

he looked at me for a few seconds, then pointedly got up and moved a foot away.

apparently I was wrong about the forgiven part…

I like to think they understand we’re helping… but some days :blackeye:

Same exact AMPS and PMPS number, strange coincidence. So I go let me test myself… I’ll say that prick is not pleasant! Our poor furry friends.

I was 122 for anyone curious… hopefully we can hang out in the blues together tomorrow

Thanks for cheering Pookey on, he listened at +3 ;) @Ailish’s Brother @Christie & Maverick @Jason - Kona's Dad

Any benefit to seeing another test tonight? Little over a 20% drop from PMPS.

You're probably fine as Pookey has never dipped anywhere near needing to intervene. On my paranoid side, I would say the depot has been building up on this new 1.75U dose though and you really don't have enough data to know if he likes to skydive at night like Kona does.

If you can, maybe just get that +4 for more data as this is your first blue going into the night? I always like to get at least 2 or 3 tests during the night cycle to see what the trend is.

That’s good advice, I’ll get a +4 or +5 just to add to the data.

I agree with Jason - all data is good data, but in last night's case, it was also about playing that fun game called "spot the nadir" :). You've probably seen this suggestion before, but usually when a kitty drops significantly at +2 from preshot, that indicates an active cycle where more tests would be recommended. Since he was down at +3, either a +4 or +5 is always a good idea, since you want to make sure he's not dropping further.
