@tiffmaxee @Wendy&Neko Would it be ok to shave the .5 unit dose down to .5 skinny rather than take the full .25 reduction? I fear we might be bouncing back and forth between .25 and .5 for a while if I take the full.

I think the last time you took the reduction the depot was full as you had a couple reductions fairly close together. I would take the full .25. You can go right back up if it fails. See what others think. Ruby is looking so good.

I was concerned about the general rise in numbers and 196 AMPS I got a few days ago on the .25, but perhaps going back to .5 was the nudge Ruby needs to feel comfy with .25. Of course I would have been absolutely THRILLED with those numbers two months ago!

A cat can go OTJ with blue numbers though, right? As long as they stay blue, they will be below renal threshold and won't need insulin?

No. If you want a strong remission they need to be under 100, ideally 50-80 or lower.
