Bama is eating well again after a slow start yesterday when he barely nibbled at AM+3 and AM+5 when I offered snacks. I dosed him with a gelcap of Ondansetron and Famotidine and his eating improved a couple hours later. He also got his sub-q fluids which made a huge difference. I think the combination of sub-q fluids and offering food every 3 to 4 hours [day and night, ugh] helps keep his tummy happy.

I think it may be different from state to state. I know that Thriving Pets said they don't ship the fluid packs to Alabama. I guess my next step may be to ask for a script and buy it from other places.
Moved my post to today's condo. Not fast enough though! :-)

SubQs really helped Bandit. No autofeeder? Or he won't eat from it?

Damn! Just saw that you need a script in the US to get fluids. I guess he won't give you just a script for 100mls a day and let you buy it wherever you want?

I'm not above pleading poverty.

I don't have an auto-feeder but I have tried just leaving food out which he sometimes eats and sometimes doesn't. I think he likes for me to come visit in the middle of the night. He seems to be awake then anyway.
