Not sure why she has such high AMPS these last few days. Maybe a bounce from that 61 2 days ago, or she went lower yet? Or she's been having more snacks.
She vomited a hairball and some pieces of chicken early this morning. I made the mistake to leave boiled chicken as a night snack for her, but she eats so fast, I think ground food is probably better for that.

Tomorrow evening the kids and I are going out. My husband was supposed to be away, finally he wll be home and offered to give Bella her shot. I will leave around +11 and come back around +3. He is confident he can give the shot but not too much about testing. He not only never tested Bella, but he also never even touches her. She loves him and rubs against him, lays down by his side on the couch, etc (and I am jealous because she does not do that to me, but she gives me kisses :-) ).
So, my question is: would it be terrible if I tested her at +11 tomorrow afternoon and then had him give her her dose at PMPS without a test? If she is low at +11 he will try and test her.
I can also have a friend come and do it, but he offered for the first time ever, so I would love to say yes :)

Bella looks good, Cecile. It’s wonderful your husband is willing to help with Bella’s care. I hope you and your kids have a wonderful evening out :bighug::bighug::bighug:

Yes, it's okay to test at +11 and even feed her if she is lower - the no feeding before 2 hours of PS is for people who don't have much experience with shooting low or handling lower numbers. Once you know your cat, it's okay to feed in that 2 hour window.

It's so great that DH offered to shoot and test Bella. Have fun with the kids! :bighug::bighug::bighug:

I'm also going to put out a dose increase threat for Bella ;)

Thank you! We’re going to go see A Christmas Carol, last time I went I was about 9 months pregnant with my daughter who will turn 18 in January.
He tried tonight, even tested her, but I was next to them. The shot went well too. I will tell Bella about the increase threat :) I am not completely sure though, part of me even wonders about decreasing. I’ll wait a few days and will ask your advice again then :bighug: thank you!
