I saw in your SS that you've been using nordic omega-3. Are you happy with it? Can you tell id/how it helps?
I've been eyeballing them for a while. I'm so picky with choosing supplements so it takes me a long time to vet something before I purchase it.

Thanks for the kind words, Shelly, I'm trying. :) Kona has been so good to me, she really is easy to deal with. It's just good numbers we both are patiently waiting on.

I think the Nordic Omega-3 is a pretty good product. I feel like they've been around forever and are probably the first Omega-3 supplement in pet formulas you can get here in the US. I only started it as a preventative to help with CKD.
I couldn't quite point out anything in particular that I've noticed it has helped with, but then again I've made so many changes it's hard to say. I know there are probably better products out there. I plan on doing more research after my bottles are done.

It's wonderful that you're taking preventative measures. So rarely people do for either pets of themselves.

What I know is important is that the oil is sourced from anchovy and mackerel, basically small fish. Also that it's led free and there are no additives. Personally I don't think it's important that the supplements are pet form, just that dosing is correct. Pet supplements are often priced more just because they're so called designed for pets. That's said, besides probiotics. These need to be designed for pet and more specifically for cats (bc dogs have a different digestive and metabolism system).

If I come up with something I trust I can share with you if you wish :bighug:
