I came home from being gone for 4 hours and Millie is testing lower...she hasn't eaten much of her snacks and didn't finish breakfast. Only 10 points between her meter read and her Libre3 read. However, her graph on the Libre shows that she had been as low as about 100 at +4.5 and was coming back after a pretty steady decline. I gave her a YA Mature Zero snack after her ear stick and her Libre number came up to 201 and is now 186.
My vet looked at her SS and her Libre graph before my visit on Tuesday and asked if I would be willing to drop back to 3.5. She was concerned about the 72 coming out of nowhere; well almost nowhere, she hadn't eaten much that day. I went ahead and dropped back to 3.75 on Tuesday night. Didn't eat much today and another drop to lower numbers. If the appetite doesn't pick up by tonight, I am wondering if I should go ahead and drop back to 3.5. She was at 3.75 when she got the 72. I should have reduced at that point but most of her numbers are above 150, closer to 200. I have to work all weekend, so I am thinking maybe drop back to 3.5 for a bit???
I'm thinking about getting a cheap phone, without cell service, so I can leave it here monitoring her and then I can monitor remotely, if I hook up like the vet would. Then there would be a monitor here all the time and I could monitor real time, as if I were here. I guess I'll go to the Libre page and see if anyone has tried that.
