Well Gideon surprised us with a 59 at +2 last night! Lowered his Lantus to 0.25 units this morning.

Gideon Blue is now receiving Lantus 0.25 units BID. He has come a long way, thanks to this group.

Once a kitty is considered in remission and has not had insulin for one month, what should the BG range be on the Alphatrak? I was reading a few different opinions.

It’s a rough range. With a human meter it’s under 50- 100 most of the time. Some cats are even lower than 50. Basically you want them in green or low blue.
