Fed her a teaspoon of LC at +9. Out of curiosity, what is the rationale of feeding a snack at +9?

A functioning pancreas will bring down the BG 3-4 hours after eating. So for many cats almost in remission a snack at that time will bring down the BG. So hopefully the amps and pmps will then be under 100.
