Hi gang,
Boyfriend bean was over and using the computer, so I didn't really get on much this weekend (and trying to rest up and kick the last of my bug) - but I was testing! : )
Upped Bash's dose to 1.5 (altho backed down to 1.25 one morning cause I'm a scardy momma). Actually saw some greens! His numbers are still all over the board though, which is frustrating and can't be making him feel that great, I'm sure. I'm sure some of that is from NDW and my inability to commit to his dose. I am a little concerned that once the shed is full that he'll drop down too low (given that he hit in the 50's twice) and I won't be there to encourage/steer with food because I'm gone all day for work and out a couple nights a week, but I am just going to have to get over that fear and just trust that he'll go eat when his BG's go low. I remember from last time that he does have a tendency to self-balance with food when his numbers drop.
I'll feel a lot better once I get the half-unit needles in the mail this week that I am being perfectly consistent on the amount of his dose. I'm really careful, but don't always know that I am "EXACTLY" right on at 1.5 or if I am running skinny some of the time.
Still on Clavamox two times a day. Still a little loose stool, but I am adding water to his food and he's drinking well.
WCR: Seems fine and did some serious catnapping with Mom over the weekend. Grooming, eating well, drinking, walking around outside, interacting with the civies and seems to be feeling well in general.
