2/10/10 - Bashful - PMPS 275

Good morning LL peeps!

Bash is still kinda doing the hermit thing. He spent a lot of time upstairs in the attic room last night (altho that's not totally unusual - he likes to nap up there because it's warm). Still not happy with Momma Bean and the pokies. I tried to give him extra lovies while still letting him have some space. I kept the pokes at a minimum last night and just did PMPS and +3. A little disappointed in his higher numbers after the nice low trend, but trying to be patient with the process. At least he's not in the reds.

WCR: Seems to be feeling fine, other than the hermit thing. He's eating and drinking and came downstairs a couple times last night to have a snack, drink and go potty. Got in bed with me for a while early this morning, then went and hid out to avoid the morning poking...(he ain't no dummy) LOL

Hope you are all having a happy Hump Day and that those in the east are enjoying the snow and staying warm.

is the hermit thing something Bashful usually does when he's mad at you (like for making him travel?). Do you really think he's hiding from the pokeys?

Yeah, I think he's hiding from pokey's. Tonight I had to chase him around the house for 10-15 mins before I could catch him to test/feed and shoot. Him going upstairs is not really that unusual - he likes to sleep up there. He doesn't seem to be feeling bad. Tonight (once I finally chased him down), he ate almost a whole can of FF, then I gave him a good brushing and he finally relented and gave me the purr monster response. I think he's just tired of getting tested and such.

FYI - I tested him tonight for ketones and he was negative (0.1).
