Yesterday

Good morning all.
Max is a rubber kitty. Bounce, bounce, bounce
I was only able to get a +3 last night, 287.

Guess he did not quite understand the blues of yesterday morning and shot
back up pretty high.
I do not expect any siginficant plunges today, but you never know with them right??
Hoping for a good day.
As if this wasn't enough, civvie sister is throwing up liquid with blood in it
so she is off to the vet within the 1/2 by DH. Not good.

Everyone have a great day. I hope I do not get any bad news.

Randi!! Healing Vines & good vet vibes sent to your dear civvie!!!-Oh that must be upsetting--Hope it can be easily remedied!-Please update when you can-I'll be watching!!
Moonie also bounces from a green number like a super ball :shock:

Oh Randi...I am so sorry ...hope it goes ok today at the vet and that

I'm so sorry your civvie is sick. We'll be thinking of you guys today. Hopefully, it's something that's not too serious and can be easily fixed.

At least you had a nice blue day yesterday, hopefully the bounce won't last long.

Hope Civvie Sister is okay. Sending healing vines for her too

Max seems to clear his bounce a lot quicker lately.
I am glad to see he likes to be in the yellows, whhich is a nice drop from the
477 this AM.

Thank you for your concern on Civvie Sister Chloe.
There is not much to report yet. Blood work was done and all organs are good.
BG was checked too, so of course I had to ask vet what it was 95.
He gave her something for gastric and maybe the blood could have been a vessel
when she vomitted.
Wants me to call back tomorrow.
This vet I got lucky to see, my original vet of 25 years of my Sasha(GA).
Just an amazing Dr. He did not want to send home any special diet for Chloe because
of Max's issues and the 3 cats.
I might have to discuss Max's Diabetes with him, you never know!

Oh my Randi. Sending lots and lots of feel better vines for Chloe. Glad to see that Max decided to come down into the yellers for ya. But hey Max - no more bouncy bouncy.

Thanks for asking Pat.
Right now doctor wants to do simple treatment before exploring with siginificant tests.
He gave me novo-famotidine which is pepcid, for ant-acid and see how that goes.
I need to call him tomorrow.
She threw up once during the day and has not eaten. Clear liquid with a trace of blood.
When I came home I tempted her with puresnacks to see if she would eat, and other contraband treats. She was purring and ate some. Then threw it all up. No blood in that at least. So time to test, feed,shoot and pill.

I'm so sorry Chloe is still feeling pukey. I hope the famotadine works. If she isn't feeling better tomorrow, maybe your vet could give you some Mirtazapine for appetite, or a shot of Cerenia for nausea? I hope that tummy heals soon.
 
Glad to see Chloe is still OK and hope that she will be just fine..I'll do my heal the cat spell for her like I did for Morris--Dont know what i'm doing,but we think it works--HUGS & healing vines--Max's number looks a little better--Think Pink & yellow!
 
Well Max's numbers are okay, not anything to shout from the roof.
It has been 8 cycles though that we have seen some green.
I might have to consider going back to 5.75 soon. I guess I will pose that question
tomorrow.

With regards to Chloe - I tried feeding her again. I cracked open a can of EVO 95% chicken/turkey which was supposed to go back to the store - too fattening for Max. I knew she liked it from the first time I brought it home. She ate a bit so hopefully she will keep it down.
I have Mirtazapine at home that I had used on Max back in Oct, just in case.

Roni - I'd love to see you do a cat, healing dance - YouTube anyone, lol!

Today, it looks as though Max is in RBC... you've gotten blue on this dose and you've even gotten green on this dose..... so... feel free to ask the question tomorrow re: dose but you are getting some action from this dose so we'll see what people will say. Of course, the action cycles are somewhere in between the rebound cycles which Max likes to stretch from 48 to 72 hours. You got yourself a very bouncy kitty and - although I could be wrong - you can't look at RBC cycles to adjust dose.

I hope Chloe will feel better soon.... sending healing vines and about 2 feet of snow (bonus) your way!

Max is a very bouncy kitty for 18.5 pounds
Now +3 he's at 287.
Maybe he saves te greens fr me only on the weekends.
I'll trya and catch maybe a blue tonight. Still have 3 more hours.


Chloe report, no vomitting tonight with a second dose of the "pepcid" and she is napping now.
Thanks everyone for your good wishes for her. She has had her won medical issues with never any concrete diagnosis and she gets skin lesions, once in a whil flare ups. Never diagnosed those either.
 
So I know silly question but should I stay or wake up and see what a +6 (1:00am) could be.
I know Sienne, sleep is overrated, lol.
