Yesterday. Increased Ruby’s dose back to .25 to see if we can push the numbers down a bit.

Taking her sister Olive to the vet today as she’s been vomiting more than usual and eating a lot less. I tested her BG last night and it was 79 so I know she doesn’t have FD. Let’s hope she’s ok.

We're back from the vet. Everyone there was so enthralled with how friendly and happy Olive was throughout her time there. I count myself fortunate that both of my cats act nice at the vet. We're waiting on the results of a geriatric blood panel with Spec Fpl for Olive. Aside from the vomiting, I also brought her to the vet because I caught her limping yesterday and favoring her right hind leg. Olive is a very precise jumper and runs at 50 mph through the apartment for no reason all the time, but maybe she took a spill that I didn't see. Vet said that she would propose giving Onsior and/or Gaba for osteoarthritic pain--would love to know if any of you here have experience with either drug for arthritis. As for the vomiting, the vet gave her a Cerenia injection and the blood panel will give us some clues as to what is going on with her stomach.

+4 = 80. A flat evening. Haven't given her any mirtazapine in 3 days and skipped tonight's dose of cerenia and Ruby still ate her meals like a champ. Fingers crossed that the bad appy has gone away.
