Good morning beautiful people and kitty's :-D

Webber was right on top of me this morning wanting his breakfast when my alarm went off. Sure enough, when I made it to the kitchen the plates were licked clean. He ate good and all four P's are in place (you know which one we are missing)--gave him some Miralalx this morning after I saw him trying to eat our fake grass

Hope everyone has a wonderful Tuesday.

**I forgot to mention -- I have some beautiful fake plants & Baby is always munching on them.. even when she has access to real grass -- it has always made me wonder why... funny to know she is not alone.

Happy Day 7 Webber! Seven more to go!

Paige, I have seen a few people give Miralalx and I was wondering if there would be a reason for me to give this to Sami and my other kitties.

Oh my gosh you guys. I decided to get out Webber's medical file this evening and list his medication hx in a spreadsheet. I wonder if all the stress over the last 3 surgeries and meds could have been the culprit. We will never know....but doing this sure did put things into perspective for me.

Something someone said the other day... in my post.. I cannot recall who... maybe Monique or Sienne.. maybe.. I cannot recall... said something that I will never forget..
Some kittys get OTJ quickly.. because there is an alternate issue going on.. misdiagnosis... health reason, etc.
I wonder if Webber was just misdiagnosed due to the meds? Anyway.. as you know.. I know nothing... but am thinking out loud...

That was Monique, not me!!

The biggest culprit associated with diabetes is steroid use. With Webber, there was considerable time between steroids and FD diagnosis along with the ACL repair in between. I can't imagine they didn't do a blood panel before the ACL surgery and if the FD was present then, it would have been picked up. The bottom line at this point is you'll never know. And, you don't need to know the cause.
