Are we starting OTJ tomorrow?
I need some informations about OTJ. I just know my sugarboy has to go 14 days without insulin and has to stay in normal numbers.
How much to test?
Feeding regime is staying the same right?
Anything else important?

His numbers are a little higher on the 0.10U dose. You want nadirs to be in the 50-80 range and not as much blue as you are seeing. We want a strong remission. I'm going to tag a few experienced members for their opinion on whether you should try a drop dose for a week or whether you should go back up to 0.25U.

Specifically, this quote is relevant:

Prior to starting an OTJ trial, one wants to see kitty mostly in the range of a healthy cat (50 - 80 mg/dL), but under 100 overall... with only occasional readings in the 100 - 120 range.

I would say that Pino isn't mostly under 80 and does seem a little higher than on his previous dose. How about trying a couple more days on this dose? I'd like to see if those blues on the 26th were just a one day thing or a trend.

Sure, no problem. I will keep 0.1U for couple more days.
I would also rather keep the dose to be sure that he really is okay thanks for the advice!
