Ruby's appetite these days has definitely slowed down. She was eating about 5 ounces of raw food at one point, now we're down to maybe 3 or 3 ½ ounces. There is a poop in the box that I believe is hers--dark and tarry again. Her poops have always been dark, but not this dark, and not accompanied by vomiting before. Her next ultrasound isn't until June. All of her bloodwork shows her to be doing ok, kidney values holding steady. DBF is away tomorrow and Saturday so the cat sitter will be coming to do one test in the late afternoon because that's when she tends to start dropping lower and feeding her whatever carb count food she might need at the time. I may ask him to give her fluids on Saturday to see if that helps. The big change in the last week or so is the introduction of Adequan, but from what I have read, cat's usually don't get GI upset from an injection. It's all a mystery to me right now what might be going on. Hesitant to give her ondansetron because that makes the poops worse. Gah.
