Starting cycle 4 at 7.5 U. Looks like he's coming back down.

I started thinking about R last night... his overall pattern has changed so much that I think if I'm going to use it again I'm going to have to redo the dosing scale yet again, and probably start very low (0.5 U) just to be safe. So far, though, he hasn't needed it at all since Jan 30. Fingers crossed!

Good luck with the new dose. The nice thing with R, it's completely optional. And it's always interesting when you no longer need to use it.

Thinking ahead a bit... his dental cleaning is scheduled for Friday. But (a) we're supposed to be getting a bit of snow (and it's an hour and a half away) and (b) we appear to be going through a process technically known as "Jane, get me off this crazy thing!" I'm wondering whether it might make sense to postpone until things are a bit more stable. The cleaning isn't urgent, and it might be better to avoid travel, anesthesia, recovery, etc. while he's diving like this. Thoughts? (One possible downside: if I delay too long they might want bloodwork done again; I don't know how recent they want it to be.)
