*bounced around a lot, but overall better night than recently, except for her attitude - GROUCHY grumpy_cat


An hour into bfast and she is making some progress. I can tell she is ready for a poke free day, when I walked down the hall and she meowed at me to go away (I wasnt even going to do anything to her! :lol: ). I picked up the peacock feather instead and she suddenly wanted to be my friend again - got her front leg and jaw exercises out of the way. ;-)

Im going to officially accept a 'new' longer term sub job today. It's gonna be a rough one - stressful nailbite_smile . But, interesting. Best part is that I dont have to leave until +3, which makes our mornings less rushed and more relaxing. I also get a later test in the cycle! Should always be home by +10. So, a good set up and a little more reliable work.

Busy week with lots of work, a few dose increases, and a big party! party_cat I hope the party cheers up cats and beans, such as - Pat/Shadow, Sienne/Gabby, Nancy/Bee, Michelle/Esse, Gayle/Shadoe, Kelly/Logan...and the list goes on!

Our thoughts are with Kelly and Logan today!!!!!!!

What great news about the job; it sounds nicely fitting to Latte's needs, and the playing is more good news to hear. Playing has to about the best sign to see.

That little ray of sunshine around +6 sure did not hurt to see! :thumbup

I don't mind grouchy because it tells me Shadoe can't be feeling all that bad! She does the same thing too, when we are doing frequent testing and I talk to her and show her my empty hands then walk by without looking at her and hope I have convinced that it's not test time haha_smiley
Some days, I don't blame her; I try to get alot done on the weekends, so Shadoe can relate to Latte's protests.

I hope things go well with the job and that Latte behaves while you are gone. I am so glad to see that you are getting a lot of help from Carolyn.

ETA: Linda wrote that Bear Man wants to get his shots up to date so that he can cross to come to the party....isn't that the cutest thing? Awwwww..... :-D I told her that Bear and Teddy don't need to get shots just to come to the party...
I told her that we know some border guys and that no paperwork is needed for any of our kitties that want to come...so we best make sure everyone knows that. We want all the kitties from everywhere to be able to come, right?
They can take a moonbeam here and forget the authorities completely!!! :lol:

Oh Goodness! :o For those of you who know me well, I am a big chicken when it comes to increases and not being around to monitor 24/7 for many cycles afterwards. Ahhhh, at the last minute tonight I decided to bite the bullet and do it. Really, it cant be more than a drop between the ultra fat 1.5 and 1.75. At this point, maybe it was a skinny 1.75 I was just giving, and now a skinny 2?!?! :? All I know, is it was the next 'logical' increase, and the one I had planned for tomorrow night. I have example syringes with her ultra fat 1.5, the 1.75, and 2. Looking them straight on...there IS a difference. It's been 6 cycles since her last increase.

Im really nervous, but look at how high she is. There is improvement. BUt its still too high. I will be home all day/night Wed. Tomorrow is the issue with working from +3-+10,and then again in the pm from +1-+6 or +8.

Happy girl when I got home. She stayed awake and was up and about from +10 to shot time! Usually she goes back to bed about 30-45 min after I get home. She practiced playing with her peacock feather, so she can show off all her tricks at the party on Wed. :lol: Laid in some catnip, ate a few bites of wet food, and broke her almost 3 days streak of no kibble. *sigh* Oh well. That may be the longest she has ever gone, except when not eating at all.

Hoping to have everything set and ready for the party by Wed a.m. If not, then get those cats all rested during the day and ready to party the night away! dancing_cat party_cat
We cant wait to tell you what the party is for! :mrgreen: And yes, peacock feathers FOR ALL!!!! :lol:

Just today, Bear was asking me if he could get vaccinated so that he could cross the border to go to Latte's party.

Moonbeams will blind the border guards as Bear flashes past them! And can you believe...all kitties at this parties wont need vaccinations because they will be granted DIS-EASE free passes!!!! Can you believe that?!?! :o Yup! Its like passing go and collecting $200! What a deal. Unfortunately, just like the money it wont last long. But they are promised to return home safely and feel extremely rejuvinated!!!! flip_cat

Hey, can I send Jack and Lya on a moon beam? Can they work at short distances? I don't mind dropping them off, but I feel an all nighter coming, and I'm too old to wait up for them! :lol:

Thanks for thinking of us! The party sounds like a great adventure. We will be having Mpls weather here so moonbeams will be the only way to travel. If allowed, I may send Gizmo along. He'll be the life of the party!!

(I hate to say this, but I thought of bringing R up as a possibility. I don't know enough about it's use so I'm really glad you and Carolyn had a chance to discuss it.)
