WCR: Hungry, Purry, Furry. 5 P's are good. I woke up early today to call her vet. Magnolia took this to mean an early breakfast. She jumped in bed with me and beat me with her tail. She gave me the stare until I went downstairs and gave her a treat when I tested +11. The stare continued.

Her shot was 15 minutes late, I hope that doesn't have any negative effect.

I slept through the alarm I set for myself last night. :-x I don't know how low she went, but this looks like a quick and high bounce.

We are using a new insulin pen today. I'll get extra checks to see how she is doing on it.

Re: 2.8 Magnolia AMPS 307

Hi Sara,

Those were some pretty blues yesterday. I wonder how low Magnolia was getting during the rest of the day. Could the 300s be a bounce from quite low?

Re: 2.8 Magnolia AMPS 307

I was thinking it is a bounce from overnight green, but anything is possible. I wasn't home yesterday to get spot checks during the day.

AMPS 307, +2 307, +4.5 179

Hmmmm....this seems like a very fast drop. Or a quick clear from a bounce? She hadn't eaten since AMPS, she didn't ask, so I didn't offer.

Re: 2.8 Magnolia AMPS 307

The rainbow her ss has become is confusing me. Should I think about increasing her dose by .25, to 5u tomorrow? She has nice low numbers thrown in with the highs, but there are so many colors, it makes me think this may not be her dose. I'm glad we haven't seen red in a long time, but I wish we'd see less pink too. Or do I just need to be patient?

Today's recap:
+11 303
AMPS 307
+2 307
+4.5 179
+11 225
PMPS 252
+2 308

I have to agree, it's great to see those red numbers disappear!
I may not be able to comment on doses, but patience is something I am having to do alot now.

I want the pinks to go as well, and it's always just soooo sloooow!
But the beans just have to wait for the kitties to decide when it's time.

Hopefully, you will get some good numbers out of the new pen.

While you're waiting, how's Magnolia doing? If A-OK, then the numbers can't be all that bad!

Tomorrow's a new day and with it, new numbers. Let's hope they are of the blue and green variety!
