Good morning :)

Yesterday I posted about Fistuk's annifursary because I had it in my head that it's on July 22nd. Nope LOL it's in few more days, on the 27th. And I called in sick because I didn't sleep all night so I can, after all, post this morning. Oh well, not much will change by official mark of the year and my reflections and gratitude stand all the same <3

Fistuk had a lovely green cycle yesterday, beside the blue AMPS.

Nadirs at AM & PM under 80 and this morning looks not bad as well. So I'm not sure anymore is there's room for an increase...

I'm home today and plan to take +5, +7 and maybe +10 to see how his cycle looks like.

This morning he was in a good mood and came to sit on my laps and beg for my butter. I love it when he does that. glimpses of his old self, his cheeky character, are a delight. He does get BTW a couple of hair-like pieces of butter.

After breakfast he went to the toilet which is too full with litter as I forgot to instruct the holiday cat sitters how much to put in and the y put a lot. Fistuk found it difficult to dig a flat, stable patch and fell to the side, his hips roiled down while he somehow supported himself with his front feet and peed like that. Luckily it still score inside the box. Since I often go see what he's up to in the toilet I straightened him and held him so he could have a more dignified position to pee. Though, he didn't seem to be offended at all :woot:

And the adventures of FD continue.

As always, a boring day is the best day in my opinion, Shelly.
I hope you feel better and can rest today.
I’m very happy to read about Fustuk’s daily adventures again. He’s such a happy kitty when you are with him. It’s clear he adores his Mum.

Hi Shelly, hope you get well soon! Somehow it touched my heart, how you helped Fistuk to pee with dignity. :bighug: And so sweet he is such a butter lover. Do you have this buttermilk in Switzerland, with tiny butter flakes? Binie likes it very much, maybe also Fistuk would enjoy it as a special treat?

I went back and read your "oops" annifursary post from yesterday and wanted to say that I am so glad you found the FDMB. What a blessing it is for all of us!! We're beyond lucky to have such a resource to help our beloved kitties and friends to support us on our journey. Thank you for the beautiful picture of you and Fistuk. It's easy to see that you are two pistachios in a pod, and I wish you many more happy years together. (Also hope you can catch up on your sleep soon.) :bighug::bighug::cat::bighug::bighug:

Not sure about butter milk but I'm certain Fistuk would love it :joyful:
It was a touching moment and also my heart bent a bit seeing him like that. I'm happy I was around to help him.
I had a good enough rest today and hopefully tonight I'll be able to sleep, unlike last night.

FDMB is just beyond words! I met here so many good, kind and compassionate people. And what a treasure it is to share our crazy love for cats :joyful:
I love 'two pistachios in a pod' it does feel like that.
