24/3 Chico 124@AMPS reduced dose

So finally Chico asked for the reduction, we have been dancing around it for a few days already but just to make sure that i don't let him enjoy it i poked him a billion times, ruined 4 stripes to take a tiny little blood sample. Usually his left ear bleeds so easy that is why i usually opt for it in the morning but it really didn't work today :blackeye::blackeye:

Now we will never know if the 124 is stress induced or just a bounce....

can you please tell me if you think i should test at +1? i keep on struggling with myself abt it: on one hand high PS on the other hand the change in dose and maybe the stress induced high PS (as confused as always)
 
I think it's a bounce from the lime last night and you can wait till +2 to get you first test. :-)

What stress are you referring to? Multiple pokes to draw blood? If yes, I think that stresses us out more than the kitties! I have had this happen to me several times and Bandit just waits patiently! Unless Chico is the kind who doesn't like testing to begin with. Even then, that should not elevate numbers.

ok, thank you :) i will wait, i really think i tortured him today with multiple pokes though

he doesn't mind poking, he just waits and sometimes he even purrs. he is less patient when he is hungry and usually PS is the one when he is hungriest so he keep on moving and changing position. maybe you are right, maybe i am more stressed than he was about it o_O Mornings... i'll go have a coffee
