Well he has definitely earned a reduction this time. 36 is the lowest I have seen him , so I gave him some HC on top of MC. He hoovered up everything I gave him. Will test again soon.

I wonder I the time shift has effected his numbers, I have noticed in the past any time I had to shift his shot time his BG went lower.

Woah! Test in 30 mins? This early in the cycle, he may need honey/karo also. Let's see.
Does he get food at +1? You might want to test and feed at +1 also in cycles where he starts below 150.

He was sleeping at +1, when I disturbed him to test him at +2, he kept run to the food dish. Had to drag him away to test him. The food brought him up a bit but will test again at +3.

He is holding steady 52 at +3. He ate a bit more MC.

Wondering if I should reduce to 1u, or 1.125u.

When following the 3 drops rule and/or when you get a number in the 30s, it's a full 0.25U reduction.
See if he will stay up with LC after this.
